Concealed Carry Classes

Is target shooting skills different than defensive or tactical shooting skills?
Yes, I think so......,Tactical shooting skills are different than target shooting skills, in a tactical situation you are having to manage much more thinking, stress, anxiety, and moving & shooting skills than in most target shooting situations.
So even if your experienced with a firearm and especially if your goal is to carry a gun in public, defensive training is a must, even though target shooting has its place and is a great start, you need to find someone that specializes in that type of training and take a few classes and practice those skills.
We all need recurrent training, no matter how good we think we are, we can still benefit from a second set of eyes. Drawing from concealment and shooting rapidly and accurate are perishable skills that over time will fade.
As my Dad use to say....Practice as your life depends on it........After all, it might!
